Recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious awards, the HBJ Landmark Awards have been honoring outstanding commercial real estate projects and developments locally for 10 years.
Fresh off of receiving the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Houston Development of Distinction Award (For-Profit), One Park Place has added the HBJ Multifamily Project Landmark Award to the list. The HBJ Landmark Awards are awarded to those projects that continuously improve the look, feel and image of Houston. Developed by The Finger Companies, and designed by Houston-based Jackson & Ryan Architects, One Park place is the first residential high-rise built from the ground up in downtown Houston in four decades.
With a touch of classic Gotham grace and whole lot of everything-is-bigger-in-Texas bravado, One Park Place – an homage to New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel – lords over the west side of Houston’s showcase 11.8 acre Discovery Green urban green space. The landmark high-rise has not only changed the city’s skyline, but it has ushered in a new era of what it means to live, work, walk, and play downtown. The building’s distinctive design and efficient, open interiors – coupled with the highest quality finishes and fixtures –make One Park Place the classic symbol of urban living in the Bayou City.
